What is the TORFL Russian Language Exam?
In short, “TORFL” can be exemplified by the TOEFL, 
which is an English proficiency exam. TORFL (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language) is an exam that measures the proficiency of foreign individuals in the Russian language and can be taken through leading state universities in Russia and their authorized organizing institutions.
The TORFL exam starts from the most basic level A1 and consists of a total of 6 different levels, up to the most advanced level C2. In the Russian exam, the candidate’s language proficiency, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills are tested.
The TORFL, developed according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards, is administered under the supervision of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. Additionally, the TORFL is recognized as equivalent by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) in Turkey.
