Russian People’s Friendship University Campus Buildings and Student Dormitories
The campus buildings and student dormitories of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia were constructed in the 1970s. Situated on Miklukho-Maklaya Street, the campus is accessible via this street, which originates from Leninsky Avenue and extends towards Volgonya Street.
In addition to its educational programs, the university campus offers modern amenities and facilities to cater to students’ needs, fostering a conducive environment for academic and personal growth. The campus infrastructure reflects a blend of historical construction from the 1970s and contemporary updates, providing students with a comfortable and enriching learning experience.
The medical faculty, agricultural faculty, polyclinic, library, preparatory faculty, archive building, the new building for Russian language and general education, a large sports complex, faculties of natural and social sciences, hospitality and tourism management faculty, international programs faculty, supplementary professional education institute, postgraduate department, and a section of the medical faculty are located .
Student dormitories are located (Blocks 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15).
Blocks 3 and 4 house the Department of Foreign Languages and the Study and Training Center. Block 4 includes the Accounting Office, Printing Center, Editor’s Room, RUDN TV, Social Development Department, and Support Services. Between Blocks 8 and 9 is the International Cultural Club ‘Interclub.’
Block 11 accommodates the PFUR Senate and the medical staff training area.
At the campus owned by the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), there are 11 dormitory buildings. These campuses stretch along Miklukho-Maklaya Street. The university dormitories come fully furnished with all necessary furniture and bedding. They are situated between 2 metro stations: Yugo-Zapadnaya and Beliaevo. Elevators are available in the buildings. Each dormitory accommodates more than 800 individuals. To ensure added comfort, rooms are typically shared by 2 or 3 occupants. Rooms feature en-suite toilets and showers, while kitchens are either shared within the rooms or as communal spaces along the corridors or within the apartment units. Upgraded rooms for enhanced comfort are available at an additional cost. Some rooms are equipped with televisions, while refrigerators are situated in communal kitchen areas on the floors. High-level security is maintained across all dormitories, monitored 24/7 by security cameras.
