Lomonosov Moscow State Universtiy is a coeducational and public research university located in Moscow,  It was founded on January 25, 1755 by Mikhail Lomonosov. MSU was renamed after Lomonosov in 1940 and was then known as Lomonosov Moscow State Universtiy. Lomonosov Moscow State UniversityIt also claims to house the tallest educational building in the world. It is rated among the universities with the best reputation in the world.

Moscow State University was established in 1755. More than 40 000 students (graduate and postgraduate) and about 7 000 undergraduates study at the university, and over 5 000 specialists do the refresher course here. More than 6 000 professors and lecturers, and about 5 000 researchers work for the faculties and research institutes. Every year Moscow University enrolls about 4 000 international students and postgraduates from all over the world.

Lomonosov Moscow State University campus is an extremely complex system, with its 1 000 000 m2 floor area in 1 000 buildings and structures, with its 8 dormitories housing over 12 000 students and 300 km of utility lines. MSU library system is one of the largest in Russia, with its 9,000,000 books, 2,000,000 of them in foreign languages, and the average number of readers 55,000, using 5,500,000 books a year.

Lomonosov Moscow State University Hostel is a complex campus, providing comfortable living conditions for students and faculty.

The main building is a central part of the campus. In its lateral sectors located residential area, ie apartments faculty, dormitories for students and graduate students.The building has all the necessary conditions for work, study and life of students and graduate students (classrooms, laboratories, libraries and reading rooms, museums, the Palace of Culture, a sports complex, dining, theater, post office, consumer services, health center).

SLomonosov Moscow State University Hostelhops and kiosks in all major building provide residents and employees of food and manufactured goods of prime necessity. home life provides a large set of household services: Repair of clothing and footwear, a shop, a hairdressing salon, beauty parlor.
